Or a simpler alternative method that I haven't documented yet and uses absolute positioning to place the text on the right.
If you think a list isn't suitable for this menu then the same techniques could be used when using a DL (Definition List) and here is an example.
However I clearly think that a list is the most suitable tool for this job as this is clearly a list of items and not a spreadsheet.
However feel free top disagree and here is an example using a table but it does require 30% more html than the CSS methods.
